I was actually just thinking about going out right now, but the weather isn't really on my side. I played on thursday, shot 4 over after 9, then it started raining.

So if you play, what do you play?

Clubs?
Handicap?
How often do you play?
Favorite thing about golf?
Driving distance?
Average greens in reg?

I play Mizuno MP-30 grain flow forged irons, Mizuno MP-600 9.5º driver, Mizuno Raw forged 56º wedge, and an Odyssey White Hot XG Whitehawk putter.

I would say I probably handicap around 12.

I try to play at least once, if not twice, per week.

I love hitting a crisp iron shot that rolls up close to the pin. No better feeling IMO.

I would say I average around 325yards, I tried to win the local long drive tournament in february, ended up getting second with 349yards.

I would say I probably hit 60% of greens in reg, though I tend to blow my birdie putts all the time.

i hit the range prolly 2-3 times a week, but never actually out to play a round because thats $$ i dont have. I drive to about 300-325 and im working on keeping it within a 25 yard width. Snake Eyes 10* driver or a Callaway Big Bertha 10*. I cant remember my other clubs cuz they're old hand-me-downs from my dad. HE on the other hand is about a 4 handicap...and will beat my ass any day if we tried to play a round

Thats cool. I wish I had someone like that around to keep me on my toes, make me better. My roommate plays too, but he is probably a 25 handicapper. The only person who is decent enough to play with me where I live, just moved back to my hometown. He is probably about a 3-4 handicap. Though, in high school I played along side of the #1 junior golfer in the world right now, Cameron Peck.

I'll take the title of poser then, I was wearing shorts and a thin, dri-fit tee. When my nipples can cut glass, I'm calling it quits after 9 on a practice round.

wussy poser then... your whining does not justify your lack of discipline.

I'm a 4 handicap... and that's not a fair weather handicap either....

I love to golf!! But Im the only one in my group of friends that does. I went out once last year with my father-in-law. Man i wish i could afford to go out at least once a month.
My favorite things about it are: being outside, playing it with friends, and the sound of a hard solid drive. I love that sound.

I play occassionally. I have a set of Nancy Lopez clubs. My husband is a Golf Professional and a sales rep for Callaway clubs. He use to play on mini-tours when we lived in the southeast. He's an average 72 with a 0 handicap. He plays with Callaway X20 irons, Ping ISI driver, Odyssey putter, Adams Hybrid 2 & 3 irons, and Callaway X-Tour sand wedge.

Say as you will. I don't having anything to refute. I used to play in the rain all the time, I just don't think its necessary to play 9 more holes in the rain and wind when I'm doing nothing but practicing.

I almost went the callaway route back when I was shopping around, though my buddy cameron got me into mizuno. He had a set of mp60s I believe, let me use them for a round. I still need to invest in some fairway woods, as I don't carry any in my bag.

my adams redline driver ends up in the backup bag from time to time also... but it always finds its way back into my main bag...

I'm still playing with Ping g10 irons, my oldsk00l titleist scotty cameron teryllium II putter, and cleveland/nike wedges.

I just got done not too long ago. I don't really care bout a handycap, and I don't go to be competitive either. I go cuz its relaxing an fun.

Clubs - eh a set of old dunlop irons an fairway woods, idk i have 2 drivers i use, dont know who makes them. they're shitty but for me seem to work better than anything else ive used
Handicap - thus again i dont care. so idk
How often do you play - once a week if im lucky. if im not, once every other week.
Favorite thing about golf - the nature around me, its quiet.
Driving distance - idk, bout 230 i would guess on average
Average greens in reg - eh usually spot on, except for the occasional 1-2 shanks per 18. my problem is putting, which im working on.

Im always over par, for the simple fact I have a hard time reading the greens, on average I would say 10 over. which isn't bad since I play for fun, and could care less if I improve or not...

the golf course near me has a full 18, then i also has a small executive course, just a small 9 hole, all par 3. Great little course for working on your short game

$9 @ twilight! so I try to play friday afternoons.

I just recently started playing more and more again and just recently started noticing that I'm actually improving.

Last time I went, i shot 8 over and had at least 3 GIR and starting to really narrow in on my putting as well.

Driver- Taylor Made Tour Burner 10.5*
Irons- Affinity 2-PW, have a set of Callaway x22 on order
Wedges- Taylor Made gap wedge and sand wedge
Putter- Taylor Made Rossa Siena 4

I used to play ALOT like 5 years ago, and consistently shoot 2-4 under, then I started college/work and have played like twice over the past 2 years. Now I just bought some new clubs and have been out about 15 times in April and I just got back from playing today. Shot +4

Favorite thing about playing is just being outside and and the challenges of different courses.

Driving distance for me is about 265, on a good day right around 280.

I usually hit about 15/18 when I'm playing good. Just depends on the day I guess.
