anyone ever go from efi to carbs?

I am adding a hydrogen cell in my car for increased gas mileage. The issue is the efi system(sensors really) When you add the cell the sensors pick up the extra oxygen and actually add gas. On a carb car you simply adjust the fuel down and get better mileage. So, on my 98 civic lx sedan. Would it be easy to convert to a carb car or leave it efi and try and trick the sensors. They make components to trick the sensors . what do u guys think? I drive 300 miles a day and need to get this done.

how much is the component used to trick the sensor and how would you install that? If it's just like a plug-n-play, I'd try that first. I think you'd have more problems converting to a carb.

could this be something that a afc hack or a chip could do?

i work for a mobile locksmith company. I'm the guy you call when you lock your keys in the car. We have to use our personal car. That's the only downside. I run maybe 15-30 calls per day. I spend maybe 160 per week in gas. The electronics supposedly are plug and play and send a signal to the ecu that everything is normal on the 02 sensors and one other piece lowers the fuel pressure and the hydrogen makes up for the lack of fuel. .
