Anyone ever install a cd player in their glove compartment?

I threw a CD player in my glove compartment (ek civic coupe)...what methods has other people tried to achieve this?

i left my cd player where i could see it, and use it , but thats just me -shrug

I did that once. I just drilled a hole at the bottom, ran the wires, and made an aluminum case out of sheet aluminum from Home Depot so I could still store my paperwork and what not. Awesome concept, but not very practical. Every time I wanted to change the CD, Station, or just turn up the volume, I had to reach over and open it if I was alone. Also, if my windows were open on my passenger side, everything would fly out of the glove box. It was frustrating.

I have aux cables running from the cubby din to the stereo (for Sirius and ipod).....I just open it to change the equalizer basically....im guessing pictures are needed...

Very clean work, but I would have done Sirius integration or just placed it in the second DIN opening below the Sirius controller.

yea.. you could put in the din below.I guess I just wanted it to be original..paperwork is in the center console...I just cleaned it out..now im starting to check out the double din flush dvd players...
