Anyone have their cd deck installed in that spot behind the cup holder? Well I just relocated mine to that spot last night and I need some ideas at to what to put in that gapping hole that was left where it used to be next to that little pocket. btw this is for 96-98 civics. what did ya'll do if you did this.

i wanted to do this by putting in a gen6 center in my gen5, buti cant, cuz i wanted to put gauges in the hole. you might beable to go out and buy some plastic and put thier, or buy an v-afc.

I did that in a 4 runner I used to have. I ended up just putting a blank there and sold it for the SI. Really didnt look to bad for the small time I had it after that.

i would do it but i got the Pioneer premeir 850 and the face is motorized and i dont think it would work

yes please post a pic of the shifter boot..ive never seen that on an automatic b4.... good luck about fillin that hole.. i have no idea what i would put there..i would have just put that cd player where the hole is..thats what i did with mine..

i was gonna do that and put guages there and the vafc, but once the vafc is set...then i dont want to look at it. as for guages, you want the guages to be close to your line of sight, or near your cluster, not across the car...

honda makes a block off plate for 99-00 so im sure they make them for 96-98's. i did the same to mine i got a 99-00.

you can buy a block off plate, guess you could mount some gauges in it or something. Check around on ebay they always have that kinda stuff there
