I have a sound system in my car but lately my rearview mirror keeps on shifting downwards because of the sub kicking. I do have a broadway mirror attached. is there any way to tighten or fix this issue?

broadway mirrors are heavy. if j00 r ricer enuf you could ziptie it ;)
haha, j/p. i don't know if there is any way to fix that, other than turning the subs down, but that's a little outta the question. you could try to find a lighter mirror or smaller at least. i dunno, sorry!

I had that problem in my old Civic...There's nothing you can do, but put it higher than you like so it takes longer to go down again...lol

i got the same problem. tried to tighten this nut behind the mirror and it didn't help that much. i also heard of using like a puddy or something and putting it in the joint to keep it from falling.

i have this same problem, but im going 2 my honda dealer later to buy this piece that you attach to the back of the mirror, holding it, and you secure it your front windshield with adhesive... and thats it.. i found this out, because my friend has a newer model prelude.. and i noticed that tha mirror on her car never f**king moved.. lol...

What I used is a little tennis grip tape. Found at most athletic stores. Take the mirror off and apart. Cut about a 2-4" strip and put it behind the ball of the mirror.

Cause I also have a Broadway mirror and we have rumble strips in PA.

The flat one is better unless you like looking at things that are 1/2 the size (convex) but gives you more viewing area behind you.

Hah Hah! I thought that a misadjusted mirror was just something you had to live with with a hitting system.
