Overboring and resleeving a k25 would be pretty damn sick with a turbo. I want one lol. Anyone heard of anything like this been done before?

And if so what were the results? Ive seen a NA k24 and that thing HAULED.

Over boring a K24 is retarded you lose response. Plus your already getting the torque you dreamed of with 2.4liters.
Ill tell you this, turbo k24 is like a muscle car as much torque as horsepower. (because of its stroke.)

What turbo would I even run on it? I was thinking of boring it to get even more displacement.. I could probably get it close to 2.7 with new sleeves.

over boring a k24 is fine, i dont see the downside, i know some guys who have muscle cars and they are mostly bored....atleast the drag ones. putting a turbo on it is fine too, i dont see the logic behind your reasoning.

Im asking what turbo I would run on it. Something like a T66? Hmm I should look into making "custom" turbos.. aka mixing and matching compressor with exhaust

?? You dont have one why are you asking about turbos for it. Those type of question you don't ask on a forum, you ask a turbo company.

Don't see logic my ass.
After overbore, after that your gonna need custom pistons, rings, and gaskets.
Overboring loses response. I would'nt over bore unless some well known people have done it first.

i wouldn't bore it to gain liters. I would bore it to sleeve it. put some cast iron sleeves in (i know there heavy, but there strong) and some strong pistons, rods, rings, and redo the block and crank, put in some stronger valves/springs. and you could push out some huge psi's like 25-30 psi. ='s huge hp and torque with teh bottom end being built.

you can already do that with GoldenEagle's services, which is 799. Im sure I would be able to get a bigger displacement AND sleeves.

Go read about it.

I would'nt do it unless a well known person has wasted there money to perfect it, and start productions.

 I don't take orders.

C.C. I suggest you go do some reading. You don't have a k24, I don't see why your asking about a turbo for it. I should be asking this question (since I have one) and I would'nt come to a civic forum asking about a turbocharger for it.

Cast Iron < Iron ductile
Leave cheap Casting to SRT-4's
More boost pressure don't mean more horsepower. It has a 99mm stroke, needs to be built before abuse.

people ask about the K-series because its basically the future of 5th and 6th gen tuning......its already pretty popular (for those who have money) to drop it in the 7th gens. Hell, there's a ton of people who ask about B-series motors on here. There seems to be few who know motors on this site, sometimes. Im currently lookin' for a cheap hatch to drop a K20A2 into, im not going to journey into head swappin' just yet though

Yes cause of the torque and horsepower numbers when modified right.
I know alot of people are like ( THANK GOD TORQUE ARRIVED) with these new engines.
Heres a dyno sheet thats from a k20a2 modified correctly. Now Imagine a k24.

damn, thats badass.....i cant wait for my project to get underway. My friend is already running one in a 7th gen coupe and its now turbocharged. He's military like me, and just got back from the desert like a few days ago, so he's gonna go get some dyno's of his ride posted on his cardomain site soon. here's his site for those who think i bullshit http://www.cardomain.com/id/anotherslo1

OK then you will get no where.

I like his whip, space is tight in those new gens. He got my gauges also the autometer cobalts. And the AC autotecnik in dash gauges.
