Anyone here work with fiberglass?

im looking at doing a spare tire enclosure for an 12" alpine R. i was wondering if anyone here has attempted this and what kind of problems they encountered or perhaps tips they could share.

no, but back in the day my dad used to work in a body shop so hell be helping me...it has been about 30-40 years tho.
