anyone know how much power?

im about to buy a turbo for my '92 si, so far i have the d16z6 1.6 sohc vtec. mods- headers, intake, cam gear, custom Jacobs electronics plug wires, and a custom 2.25 catback. I also have a mildly ported intake manifold with matching throttle body. i am probably going with the Gerrett t25 turbo with greddy bov and a Hahn intercooler with dsm 450cc injectors-blue tops. Anyone know how much power, at the wheels, i would be making with this setup tuned properly?

We cant tell you how much power your going to make cause it depends on how much boost, the compressor sizing of the turbo, your engine itself, what type of tune your going to get, and the engine management you plan on using.

ok, well obviously i have no idea since i havnt gotten the turbo yet. im looking for an average. not sure what turbo si's are putting out

how much boost are you planning to run? a stock d-series can handle maybe 8-10psi MAX to not f**k things over. And you'd maybe be looking at..160-180whp? maybe. I don't know...varies often...

Those little turbos only put down approx. 8-10 whp per psi.

Stock D's boost safely until 230whp when tuned properly. Around 250 youll start throwing rods.

I have like 186 to the fly and 177 to the wheels, something like that. I have a 14b turbo @8lbs though

You'd be better off going with a TD05-14B off of a 1G DSM, instead of a T25 off of a 2G DSM. Power is almost impossible to figure because as stated, you need to factor in boost being ran, supporting mods, type of compressor used, ect...

BTW, T25's are factory Mitsubishi turbo's, not Garrett's.
