Anyone know how to diagnose this problem...

I apologize if this topic has been covored before and I know I should search, but Im kind of in a rush...

My gf's 98 EX coupe has a hard time starting. Checked her battery and it read 13.something. Jump started it, and I let it run for about 3 minutes, shut it off, try to start it again but it doesnt. Could it be her alternator? Her radio and stuff turn on regulary, and I know for a fact that her alarm LED isnt draining her battery... I know the answer is right in front of my face but I cant seem to put my finger on it. Help anyone?

how long has it been since you changed you spark plugs?

definitely sounds like alternator go to autozone and get it checked

alternator is dying.. thats what i think.. go to autozone and have them check it.

Spark plugs were changed mid-last year. Does Auto-Zone charge you to have it checked?

nope, they check it for free..

Cool, thanks for the info everyone. Ended up taking the battery to NAPA auto and they said that the battery wasnt holding a charge anymore. Bought a new one, and everything is all good. Again, thanks
