apex ecu????

hi there

started ordering parts to boost my b16a2 ek4 civic and got in touch with my local tuner and he will only setup my car with an apexi ecu, having a problem locating one for my car
just looking for some help here to locate one

does anyone kno where i could get one and how much???

its called a Power FC

i know they make them for the B16b, i'm not sure if they have them for the B16a, but ive seen people use them on the a before..

im struggling to find an apexi system

would thsi systmem be suitable for my car for a straight tune or would i require anything else??

hondata is good, but its not going to do you any good if your tuner only works with Apexi.

theres one for a B16B, you may need to do some harness modifications for OBD1, but i know a bunch of people on honda tech are using them..

talk to different tuners.

remember, its a standalone ecu, it can be tuned for whatever motor you want to use it on, you just may need to mod your original harness to run obd1, which you can buy a conversion harness for.

i'd suggest talking to your tuner, if he only deals with Apexi tuning, he would know exactly what you should get.

Do you do emmision testing? You'll fail because the scanner won't be able to communicate with the ecu. Unless you know some ppl, good luck.

apexi powerfc > hondata.

yes you will need to know someone to pass inspection.
