I am a newbie and need a little insight. I own a 96 Civic and I have heard and read about the Apex N1 Exhaust's performance and look. I have not seen one in person but I want to purchase this exhaust only if it is really installed on a slant. I have seen a few pics of the exhaust on civics but they weren't on a slant. If there is anyone who owns or has a picture of a 96-00 civic with this exhaust, please put your picture up in this thread or the link. Thanx

i have it, here's a few pics (not the best to see the angle, but it is slightly slanted.)

right after install

a bit later (you'll have to excuse my shitty messed up painted bumper)

also, if you copy and paste this link into your browser, it will open the way to get to a short little video of my car, so you'll be able to tell what it sounds like from the outside and the inside on a d16y8

I have the apex n1.. the angle on the coupe isn't that much but it sounds great. I love mine. If you have a hatch it'll be slanted a lot though..

It's at a slant, but right now it's also at an angle, so I need to adjust it! I just put it on a couple of weeks ago along with my 4-1 DC header! I also have the 2.5" piping with the 115mm tip which is generally for forced induction engines but with my intake and header it helps without losing power. But I really notice that it pulls harder when the Vtec kicks in! And someone posted one time about reading an article that the N1 was the best cat-back exhaust for the Civic!

got the N1. best buy i ever made. i bought it from lightning motor sports for $399. Ive had a grin on my face since then. especially when i hit the gas. The exhaust sounds and looks awesome. and its got a small angle. But the angle doesnt make you go any faster, well at least where im from.

generally, not much. if you're referring to my video, thats the AEM cold air intake that makes VTEC engagement more noticeable on the SOHC.
