I got mine about 4 years ago when it really was "imported from Japan" when it was made as an under-axle unlike the N1 over axle version today. It sounds great at VTEC and when you down shift. All the other times it is just loud and deep. On the other hand, it seems to me to be a little iffy on the quality side. My car is at stock height and it started to make a sound as if I put a Pepsi can on my tip. Turns out I have a hole in the back of the canister. It is a great piece but be careful over the bumps and steep driveways.

Yeah my worldsport exhaust sounds good, but the lower baffler hangs WAY too low. I have almost thought of replacing the pipe bc i scrape a lot. My car is 4" off the ground on the sides and 3.9 in the front. The baffle is almost 2 inches off - its ridiculously low

Yeh my N1 has a hole in the back of the canister becuase sometimes it scarpes on that corner, because the muffler is sitting at an angle. How can I fix that?

you can't fix that.. unless you get custom piping that is run straight w/o the angle.. it's the n1 style..

Oh.. ok. Probably by getting a new muffler. Otherwise I don't think you could fix the hole.. Depending on how big it is, you might would weld it shut x.x But I'm not sure.

You could weld it up as said above.

And to slove the scraping problem, you could weld a small piece of metal underneath where the hole occured. This way the metal plate will wear away as opposed to your exhaust.

Like an exhaust guard plate.

It's actually more of a crack along the outer edge of the canister. I'll just weld that sucker shut.

whats up _jawn, gotta represent JDMU... i got my N1 from modacar as well, but mine is for a coupe and it goes over the control arm. i think the coupe and sedan N1s go over the control arm, and the hatch N1 goes under it. couldnt tell you why, but i think thats the case

I have the N1 from japan (you can tell by the APEXi badge on the canister) and it goes under the control arm.....but i didnt lower my ride too much only 2" so it doesn't hit unless i try to jump over a speed bump or somethin' lol.
