Ok, now I've gone to several sites trying to price an N1 and I've found one site that says 2dr/4dr N1. Apexi.com doesnt even say they make one for a sedan. Now this is a confusing thing b.c if i decide to buy from that site and it really doesnt fit my 4dr what the hell am I supposed to do? Anyone on here have an N1 on their 4dr or know anyone, if so where did they buy it. Will the 2dr version fit on my 4dr? Ive parked my 4dr next to my friends 2dr and it wasnt perfectly lined up but they were close in length. Now I dont want an eye judgement I want facts b.c thats 500 bucks going out of my pocket. Thanks for your input

make it fit?

im not going to have pipe added. the n1 is stainless steal all the way back most places arent going to do that. otherwise i would buy an N1 muffler and have new piping ran all the way back and painted black or something. but i want the full N1 exhaust

I bought a Universal Apex'i N1 muffler, and I installed with 2" piping. The Apex'i cost me $175. Sounds AWESOME. And yes I have a Sedan.

here it is.. APEXi does not make exhaust for sedans..well catback well for 96-00 civic's but i don't think they make one for 92-95 sedans also, unless they got same exhaust setup as 92-95 coupes..i'd return it and buy a universal APEXi N1 muffler itself .... custom pipe it and weld it on angel look.. =p but IMO

sound

do all of you like the sound of your n1 muffler? the sedan in length on edmunds.com is 173 in. the coupe in length on edmunds.com is 172.8. so mayB the catback would work. is there any advantage of the full cat back made by apexi over custom piping? how much did it run you for a muffler and custom piping? and what size piping should i go with? the catback comes with 60mm which is around 2.5 inches. thanks for your help fellows.

PS EK9 what do you mean by angel look?

2.5 is good IMO, i had N1 on my hatchback before it was wrecked, yea i loved the sound... i let my mom drive it and yes it was stick... he loved it too but she would prefer the silencer on, she used to pick my sis up with my hatch and people looked at her weird, anywyz i like N1 style, the finished look and the sound.. power gain is good too.

2" is plenty on a stock d series, even a stock b16. 2.25 is the largest you want for a non race n/a motor.

angel look

what is this "angel look" that EK9 speaks of? depending on pipe size will sound change dramatically? any of you 5th gen sedan owners have a pic of N1 on your car? id like to check out what it looks like

the angle look is that the muffler is tilted upwards at 90 dregrees. Yes, pipe size affects sound decibels, and the resonator too.

I have the stock cat and no resonator.. it's not loud and it's not quiet, it's in between.

I wouldn't say 90 degrees... maybe half that...

ok so i have a dc sports 4-2-1 header and an aem short ram intake. now i plan to turbo in the future but that wont be for awhile. should i get the N/A 60mm inlet or the Turbo 80mm inlet? would it make a difference?
