Which of these exhaust systems is the better buy? Does the N1 give you enough performance gain to pay the extra $100? Or is the WS the better buy?

plz.. no ricer opinions..

The reason I was considering getting the WS instead was b/c the n1 seemed a little too ricey and loud w/o silencer.

I have researched this subject well because I was planing what Im going to get for my hatch. I looked at the bonus's of the exhausts (not just apexi, all exhausts) the look, the ground clearence, the price, what its made out of, the design, and I even looked up sound and video clips of all the exhausts to see what was best. After everything I did it came down to Apex'i N1, and Greddy EVO, so I chose N1. The N1 is a little bit louder then the WS but its not a loud ricy sound, its a good clear sound thats not raspy at all.

what car do you have? because if you're driving a hatch... the n1 exhaust goes under the rear suspension bar, not above it like the stock exhaust. this creates alot of problems with lowering it, and bottoming out even when you're not lowered. the world sport sounds super nice, i agree... and the difference in power gains is very similar. you should think hard about this one. i made a two minute decision and ended up with an exhaust that i hate. the apex'i n-1.

Just from personal experience, I'd say N1. It sounds great and has good performance.

Yes, but I know you say that you dont think the n1 seems ricey. But noise doesn't mean power...

Dakkon: Could you show me where to find video/sound clips of exhausts?? (n1 and ws) thx

World Sport is a street exhaust, and the N1 is a "track" exhaust. If you want a loud high performing system...N1 all the way. If you want something that doesn't blow your ears out...looks nice, and not as concerned about every little .5 horse power...the WS is a great exhaust. I say N1 still

:wstupid: j/k bottom line: n-1 is louder and is more or less designed for the track the world sport is quieter and for street i have the world sport and love it. nice quiet tone. I'd wish i'd looked into the greddy one though, never heard it but for me it'd be a toss up between the evo and the ws.

yeah either the GReddy SP exhaust or WS exhaust. You basically end up getting the same sound from what I have heard.

I am really curious to hear an RS-R ex-mag system. I also wonder what the Tanabe Hyper Medallion sounds like.

tanabe, i've heard, is SUPER LOUD.. check out www.carreview.com/ for some good reviews..

Another reason I'm kinda leaning toward the WS is b/c it gives you more low-end/mid range power.. and civics are low on torque, so that would help out a little bit.

Anybody got any videos or sound clips of their WS? please post, or email them to me: mebemunky@yahoo.com or AIM: mebe munky
