ATTN: 99-00 people, i have a really dumb question

ok well i just installed my new head unit and we ended up taking out the entire climate control part of the dash, and last night i just realized my 3 climate control knobs dont light up. but heres the thing. i need to know if they ever did light up cuz i dont remember if they are suposed to or not. it just seemed odd when i tried to turn my heat on and i couldnt see the knobs very well.

alright, thanx. im sure i just blew a fuse or sumthin. i just wanted to make sure i wasnt searching blindly for a problem that didnt exist.

i would just check the connections, it takes a nice short to blow all the bulbs on that climate unit, if the fuse is good and the lights still don't light up you'll need new bulbs

i dont think i blew the bulbs. i didnt f**k anything up that bad...i hope at least i'll check the fuses tonight im feelin pretty lazy right now

just giving ya a worst case scenario, their not too hard to blow thats why i mentioned that, i blew the bulbs in my wifes malibu just reconnecting the antenna lead

yeah, dont be touching all sorts of stuff with connectors, they do f**k s**t up..

You can also check the dimmer switch on the left of the steering wheel. After I changed the color in my climate control cluster it looked like I blew a fuse as well but because of the paint on the bulbs I had to turn it up so it would show through.
