to begin, I know there are other posts that discus this.
Now, I am in need of a transmisson for my car. It is a 94 Civic Cx with a D15 and an automatic transmission. I'm not crazy on the automatic shifter, but I got an amazing deal on the car. The engine is now blown, as is the transmission. Does anyone have any reccomendations on an engine/transmission swap? I have a full list of parts to do the swap, but I want to know what people reccomend. I'm leaning twards a GSR form the mid 90's but the 5000 price tag doesnt seem to appealing. I'm also going to post the list of parts for anyone else doing the swap.
clutch slave cylinder and the lines....plus the presure clyinder
5 speed tranny........clutch fork and boot
flywheel....pressure plate and clutch...and throw out bearing
flywheel bolts...pressure plate bolts
clutch pedal.....new brake pedal(whole pedal arms)
nuetral saftey switch
the shifter housing
shifter assebly and bolts....plus the linkage pin ,boot and clip
computer from a 92-95 manual civic
and a new motor mount and stabalizer bar for the passager side
Anything else?
