hello there, I have a 97 honda civic ex coupe, the car is automatic..... I am wanting to convert the car to 5 speed. I have a clutch pedal and all the lines, clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. not only am i wanting to covert to 5 speed i am wanting to buy a complete b series swap from my local shop. ive got my eye on a full jdm ls swap. the complete deal comes with engine, 5 speed transmission, wiring harness, ecu, axels, shift linkage, motor mounts, distrubitor, starter. practically everything i need to drop it right in. but my question is, is there anything i would have to modify to make this engine work in my automatic car? i belive i gotta do some cutting of some kind to make the linkage fit? and to install a shifter? anybody do this before? i am just looking for some advice thanks!
