Auto dom mirror.

I grabbed a gntek-187 auto dimming mirror from a chrysler 300m special. I got the writing diagram already as this isn't my first time doing this. My question is has anyone done this to a civic or am I the first n should I write a how-to?

My only concern is if it will mount to my wind sheild. At first glance the mounts look different

I put one into my del sol. The one I used was from an RX-8 with auto link garage door opener. I didn't think about doing a how to but if you did one I'm sure it would be beneficial.
The mounting should be about the same although the base of the new mirror might be a tad too big. This can be easily fixed.

I know of a few people that have replaced their rear view mirrors for others with map lights, compass or other little features of the sort.
