Auto Turbo...

Someone told me last night that i prolly won't be able to turbo my civic cause its an automatic now thi si know isn't true but he also said i wouldn't be able to hear the blow off valve really at all either even if i could..


anyone able to verify this?

your friend is stupid, if you want boost just for a bov then your stupid.
the reason you wont hear it as much is because when a auto shifts you are still on the gas meaning the Throttle plate is opening causeing the BOV to do its job

every time you let off the gas it will make noise

since thats all you seem to want.

I have a auto and I'm shooting for boost nest spring.
the only realy big differance between auto and manual is the tranny the egines are basicly the same and thats where the boost is going the engine.
see if your tranny can hold the power otherwise you might look into upgrading.

get a tranny cooler or ur s**t wont last
and dont go over 6psi with a small turbo like a t25
