Automatic to Manual

Hey ya'll, i plan on doin a b18 swap to my 94 civic lx, i'm lookin for some knowledge on swappin an auto trans to a manual, i need to know what all is involved, like parts and stuff and the time that's involved. If anybody can help me out, i'd appreciate it a lot, thanks,

do you mean that you have an auto tranny already in the car? The lx tranny won't bolt up to the b18, you'll need a new tranny anyway

I've never swapped trannys a civic, but I've done it in a camaro, automatic to a manual, but its still a bit different than a Civic

im going to be doing the samething soon too. I already got a gsr slave cylinder with lines and clutch master cylinder and the pedal setup. I not sure what else I need. Anyinfo is welcomed

go to a shop. theyll give you a no (well maybe some) bull s**t answer.

pedals, new tranny mounts, cutting a hole in the firewall, cutting a hole for the shifter to name a few.

hmm, i never thought about asking a shop, even when there aren't any near me, and they probably don't know s**t about civic's. that's why i posted this in the first place, someone with a civic would at least have done this, and they would know better than a shop that don't know s**t, if i could find one here.
