I'm getting a B&M short shifter, but there are three different ones i can choose, two of them are $60 bucks, one of them is $160.. the two for 60 has one straight, and one bent, and the one for 160 is straight. which one is better and why? I'm buying it soon, so any input is helpful

the straight one is better for tall people the bent one is better for short..

dont pay over 130 for a short shifter unless its that tall ass function over form one thats next to the wheel

i have the factory bend which i got for $45 i believe. The factory bend is basically like the dual bend cuz it bends exactly like it so it sits closer to you. As for a straight stick i wouldn't recommend it becuz for our 96-00 civics the shift console sits really low and its sucks reaching for the shifter.

turns out the noise and air i was hearing was coming from my shifter.. cuz the rubber piece that covers the whole where the shifter comes through wasn't even there, the guy forgot to put it back on, so i went back today and they put it on.. now theres no noise, kinda pissed they forgot to put it on but whatever, time for the next project.

you mean time for someone else to install stuff that you buy? maybe you should do your own work on your own car to save you the trouble of getting pissed at someone else.
