hey cc im not going to turbo my d anymore because im going to sell the whole car its in the 92-95 civic member gallery under "trying it again" anyways make offer needs engine wiring harness and tranny shaft rod.

Ok to my question i have a oo si w/ stock b16a2 im going high boost with it and i was wondering what pistons would be a good choice as in compression and where can i get them from? Im shooting for 300+ hp on pump gas so im going to run about 13-15 lbs of boost on my super 60. So if anyone out there have a good setup in mind let me know thanks.

First from knowing this path. I would say get sleeves! Then CP pistons 9 to 1 compression, pauter rods, get your crank balanced and new OEM bearings. You can make that hp on stock sleeves but I wouldnt reccomend it. This is what I think is a decent block setup. I made 357whp on my stock sleeves in my b16. That setup was stock sleeves and crank. SRP 9to1 pistons and eagle rods. I am in the middle of scrapping that block and going completly huge with the new one. Talk to earl on honda-tech. He sells all of this including sleeves!! For a real good deal.

Youll probly need more then a turbo. I am planning out a similar set up. Ill be pushing somewhere between 11 and 15 psi with a gt28rs (the price of the danm thing is ganna kill me though). I also plan on getting cams, and re-enforcing the head and block, with both sleeves and cryo. You can get away with your stock sleeves, but your compression right now is still high. The b16a2 has a compression of 10.2:1 which is high for the level of boost your going to push. Id recomend either re-enforing your engine, or lowering your compression for safy. Cryoing is pretty cheap, and helps out alot.

Hey I've got a similiar question to that. I have a b18a, I want to boost to 300hp, but well 8.8:1 cp pistons and pauter rods do the trick?

300 whp is easily obtainable with the stock block. with your super 60, you wont have to push much over 10 psi depending on the trim, if that. what you need to worry about is finding a reputable tuner, find out about the history of the person tuning and the setups he has tuned.
