Since the Civic is gone, I figured I'd post some pics of the new ride, my 05 Sentra SE-R Spec V. I haven't quite had 2 months, couldn't leave it bone stock, and already have 2,900 miles. Enjoy..

First pics after I brought it home..

Stock Brembos y0

Pinstripes and Sentra badge removed plus Nismo intake and Nismo catback exhaust..

And the old Civic..

sick ass car man, congrats. your gona love it =)
It's a blast to drive. The powerband is so much different than the Civic since it makes more torque than horsepower with this setup.

yea, 180 ft lb at 4000rpm ain't bad. i wish it had more hp for a 2.5L though, but i'm sure you aren't complaining

Honestly I think these cars are a little overrated.... They can be quick little autox cars, but otherwise I think a 240 is a better choice... :what:

But then again that is more personal preference then anything.... ;)

Other then that, keep doing what you are doing.... :P

I think it's perfect the way it is, well until it gets a few years old and possibly boost it, but I don't know about that yet. As far as horsepower, its because since the stroke is so long, it only revs to 6,200 rpm, a little difficult to get insane horspower numbers. The last dyno sheet I saw on a boosted Spec at the wheels was 253 hp and 307 lb ft of torque.

yea, bigger motors have trouble revving to high rpms, i've never driven one but i know people that have and they said they loved it. not bagging on the car or anything it's just what i prefer

I'm not a big fan of the sentra's but yours is pretty nice. They come with stock brembos, thats cool.

Well, some of the Spec Vs do, it's a $1,000 option on the Specs. Goes nicely with the factory 6 speed and factory helical LSD. =)
