think i am going to go with the turbo .....what all do i need to make my own turbo kit besides the turbo,turbo maniflod,and wastegate....do i need fuel up grades what all do i need ........

basic turbo set up...

t3 or t25/t3 hybrid turbo internally wastegated
manifold
charge pipes
blow off valve
oil return line
oil feed line
misc. vacuum lines and t's
boost gauge recommended
boost controller if the wastegate is set to like 20 psi
air fuel gauge..not accurate but close enough to tell you if you're gonna go KABOOM or not

for fuel management if you're on a low budget id get

255 lph walbro intank fuel pump
vortech 12:1 fmu (mind you with an fmy i wouldnt recommend boosting over 7 pounds daily...you can squeeze 10 out at the track)

ignition

just get 2 step colder ngk plugs gapped at .030


and....thats it
dont expect to break records or have a reliable car...chances are your rings will go out or youll blow your headgasket or some s**t.

You forgot an intercooler....not necessary (on low boost), BUT VERY RECOMMENDED. Also, you will need a custom made downpipe to lead to your exhaust system (which you might want to upgrade also to more thicker, 3 inch piping.) You can find a great turbo exhaust system in the exhaust section of www.modacar.com

get a Full-Race turbo kit....nuff said....=)

Those are mad expensive...maybe he wants to peice it together for that reason.

And you also forgot the most important (and fun) thing of a turbo system: The kickass Blow Off Valve.
