b16 stock rods??

hey cc im buying some 9:1 je pistons from a friend . im running a b16 with a t3/t4 turbo setup iintercooled and vafc for now with 450s how many lbs of boost can the stock rods handle in a usdm b16a2? my friend has a b18 that he has hit 15psi iof boost and no probs on forged pistons and stock rods. so would it be possiible to run about 13 psi ion stock rods?? with je pistons?

...aahhh, please don't base your goals on psi. HP and CFM is what makes the difference, how much hp do you want?

stock block B16 have seen 600+

id rock stock rods if say, Jeff Evans was tuning my car at that hp level. other than that, just get some forged.

also, how are you getting floating pins to work with your press fit rods?

its a machine shop around my yway that does it. idk how they do it but they do. so stock rods cant handle 300whp?

think i can run 12 psi on stock rods with a tune and how long will it last??

:cussing: I think you're missing the point. PSI is preasure, CFM (air flow) is what you should be looking at. You should turbo size your engine.
