so i have been doing my b16 swap into my 91 SI now for a bout a month on the side after work with my free time...... so i get it to the point i believe it should start and.........turn the key......no start......i get my dash lights and no crank at all the starter and alternator both are getting power.....so i look at my fuse box and the one under the hood is good....and then i looked under the dash to find there was a disaster of where someone put in a viper alarm system and alot of the wires are disconnected already but it doesnt seem to want to start......then i check my fuse box power and everything is dead.....any ideas......

Hm if it wont crank it could be a bad ground. When i swapped mine that was the only reason it wouldnt crank..... I would try all other things before messing with the alarm because you will just be asking for head aches trying to fix someone elses wiring mistakes.

Does the alarm work??? Try disarming it if it does. Make sure none of the ignition switch wires are tapped into.

your fuse box is dead.....weird...does any of your lights work, stereo, wipers, if they are it aint no dead fuse box..lol....maybe you need to check your +wire from starter to the fuse box on the engine bay...maybe you got it the wrong way, as to neg to pos, and pos to neg....if the ground wire on the chas to the tranny is not connected, you should see your speedo and rpm jump like crazy if not connect, if your not getting none of that then check all your main relays and engine power wires...!

and if its the alarm then all you do is disconnect all wires from the main brain of the alarm, and disconnect all wires from alarm to fuse box...!
