7 PSI but is necessary a perfect tunning (setup ECU).. i have seen B16s runing 9 PSI but i think it's not safe without at least pistons , injectors , a good electronic....etc

if you get a lower compression head gasket you can run up to 15 pounds safely-- if it's tuned right.

psi is irrelevant without knowing the size of the turbo. these numbers you guys are saying mean nothing. anyone know what a compressor map is? they vary on every turbo

yea, you have reason but i suppose that he dont means in to put it a T04 for example, not? i think that it refer for example with a T03/04 , is not little, however , he runing 6 PSI with that turbo and the perfect tuned i think that he will run safe.. always is important a tune right.. because if you run 5 PSI but with a tuned bad, it not would be safe..

t3/04 is a type of turbo, while they are big in size thats still not enough information. there are different sizes for every turbo. the max power at 6psi on a .43 ar t3/04 turbo wont be the same as 6psi on a .83 ar t3/t04 turbo. there could be as much as a 50hp difference in those two turbos, maybe more. and thats all the difference in the world on a civic

~300 whp is the accepted 'standard' for a stock block b series. with a good tune and a good setup on 93 octane, thats around the max that you can safely run without risking the ringlands. with a tuner such as jeff evans (boosted-hybrid) you can get a lot more, but 300 with an average tuner and average kit is plenty. 300 whp is no joke on a street civic, and more than enough for most people.

nope it just depends on tunning i ran a greddy turbo kit and a good street tune at 10 psi the motor had 100,000 miles on it and was completely stock other than the greddy kit, I still have that car and it now has 140,00 miles on it and it still runs strong a lil bit rich but strong nun the less. its all in the tune. The tuner i use has had a couple b16's in the low 300's, he even has a few 300 hp D series motors that are stock internal motors.
