b16a engine sputtering

new to honda stuff , so here it goes .
b16 engine v-tech , idles fine , when driving noticable sputtering , mostly trying to hold a set speed . if i just touch the gas to increase speed , it goes away untill i level off to another speed ,
changed , fuel filter , cap, rotor , wires , o2 sensors good , spark plugs , whats the proper gap ? 52/ 44??
no check engine lights or codes . also v-tech doesnt seem to cautch all the way unless i stomp on it ,
any help would be great . someone said ignitor or coil , ?? suggestions !!! thnaks bill

Ignition coil is a possibility. I don't know TOO much so I can't really offer a whole lot. Good luck though.
Also v-tec is spelled without the H. People around here like to give hell about that one.
