So, the swap is near. Woohoo. Im going to be building the motor on the side, but I want to make sure that I have everything else needed for a complete swap in. Im new to the swap scene as Ive only boosted before. So assuming the motor comes complete (tranny / motor / intake manifold (complete) / dizzy), heres a quick list of everything else I think I need (into an ej8):

Shift Linkage
ECU
Exhaust Manifold
Wiring Harness (I hear that you can use the EX one for the SI swap with minor modification).
Axles
Motor Mounts
Upper / Lower Radiator Hoses
AC Compressor Bracket

Possibly:
Si Radiator

Anything else that Im missing or recommendations for things to make a swap go easier?

exhaust downpipe needs to be cut

96-98 ex 5spd harness works 99-00 has a different dizzy plug or somthing. you gunna need to change the plug for the sensor inside next to the timing belt

The exhaust, I actually have the si exhaust pipe, so itll be fine. The wiring, I dont mind splicing. Thanks for the info about the lines / hoses though, ill update the list in a sec.

with my gsr swap I had to use the gsr power steering pump so you might need the si one

the b16 radiator hoses will be bigger than the old d series hoses and radiator so you'll need good clamps to hold them on there tight or get an si radiator

also don't forget all the fluids you'll need, and fill up with 91 octane beforehand

i'll try to think of more
