B16b.. T?

I think I'm going to try to turbo my B16B before next summer, but I have a few questions for you forced induction veterans.

The manifold I want to get is by Pfab... it appears to be an extremely well made piece with a lifetime warranty and it also carrys an excellent price from what I've seen

I will also be using a Pfab downpipe that I can't seem to find a picture of

The turbo I would like is a t3/t4 hybrid 50 trim turbo by garrett

the oil plumbing will also be purchased from blaast performance

Other desired items are...
an adjustable wastegate... preferably turbonetics evolution
intercooler... up for suggestions
blow off valve... leaning towards apex'i
fmu/injectors/other fuel items

My friend and I will be making all intercooler piping and such so I'm not too worried about that.

I'm looking to run 6-10psi and 250-280hp for street use with this set up

Ok, now for the questions
1. What should I upgrade regarding the fuel system?
2. Do I need lower comp pistons because the comp ratio of the B16B is too high from the factory?
3. Is this set up ideal for street use at the levels and hp I described?
4. If anything, what else do I need?
5. Any other suggestions or comments?

Thanks, LKS

upgrade your fuel pump to a walbaro 255 and get some RC 440's and a fuel pressure regulator. What system are you planning to use for tuning?

i wouldnt recommend it. you wont be able to get detailed with your tuning. run a chipped ecu w/ hondata or something like it. that is the best upgrade you can do to the fuel system.

2. Lowering your compression will be optimal
3. With turbo systems you have to actually want to go fast for it to go fast. what i mean by that is, if you're lightly on your throttle it will not boost even if you get into high rpms. however if youre trying to pass someone and you push the throttle down enough the turbo will spool. so if its good for street use depends on how hard youre going to be driving it.

why the f**k would you pick a b16b to boost? and even if you did, i sure as hell wouldnt use a vafc to tune it.

I've been researching for awhile about turbo, and as of right now it seems like a much more expensive route than just going n/a with the B16B. It is just too much of a hassle from what you guys are saying... I'll save it for my next project. I had no idea how rare a B16B was... so thanks for pointing that out as well guys. Thanks for the help and be sure to check out my new thread on going N/A in the engine section. And @stealthy, I bought the car with the motor and VAFC.
