b18 swap trouble

i have a 91 ef with a b18 swap that came off a 92 da. the car started perfect ran a little rough but did run the car sat for a while and now i have trouble starting it. i have spark i have fuel ive checked the firing order and nothing seems to help checked sensors nd hoses found nothing. this is the first honda i ever own and try to work on alrhough i do know a little about hondas from friends of mine that are "honda heads" i was curious to see if anyone out there had any ideas or had the same issue HELP!!!!

Whats your compression numbers?

havent checked compression beacuase im limited on tools here at home but it was starting fine havent touched anything other than swapping out the springs nd now if it starts it sounds rough and when i press the throttle it shuts off

i own a 1991 honda civic ef hatch DX been in the honda world for about 8 months now looking to swap dont know which is best for my car and i dont know where to come across the motor and trans for a good deal an ideas i just want a b16 vtec engine or a b18 vtec dont know which is better for my build i just want something that will make everyone to quit thinkin their car is better cause it cost more than my hatch ... i have already dropped the d15 b2 and its tranny i know ill have to change out the knuckles and suspen but im new to this swap deal so any help would be awsome

P.S I also own a 1987 honda civic cr-x HF first gen its carbed and its not in to shabby a shape any ideas for it ?

sounds like fuel pump or fuel filter not sure about b series but if you un hook the fuel filter and blow threw it until nothings coming out should perk right up my hatch was doing thing when i got it
