B18 throttle body on a d16 intake manifold

First of all, i have a 98' civic SI (Canadian) with a D16y8, 5 speed. I've been looking to build the engine lightly and now changing the throttle body has come into question. I will be changing the cam, valves, retainers and a couple other little things. I was wondering if it would be worth my time to change to a b18b throttle body with a port matched y8 manifold oppose to staying stock. Also would it matter if the b18b throttle body is off of automatic.

TL;DR I have a d16Y8 and want to put a b18 throttle body on it. How would i go about doing so? (which Throttle body and intake manifold. ect.)
Im not looking for a huge gain, "There is no replacement for displacement" This IS a D-Series after all

The B18B throttle body will work on your D16Y8 intake manifold. The B18B throttle body is 60mm and your stock throttle body is 56mm. In order for it to be worthwhile you need to port match the opening of the intake manifold. You'll also need to get a new gasket. Automatic or manual shouldn't make a difference.
