Hey guys, heres the run up... got my self a jdm b18b, runs like s**t, ive checked 90% of the possible causes..
heres what happends.. from a stop position, letting off the clutch normally to take off. about 1500 rpm or so, my car decides it wants to bog, so i have to give it more gas.. also going down the road, say 60kms and i throw it in 5th, i know thats a little stupid to drive in 5th at that speed, but using as an example, my rpm will be roughly 1200 or whatever anything below 2000rpm when im driving it trys to bog so i have to go into a lower gear.
SO HERES THE QUESTION
the engine has roughly 95-110k, do you think i could go for a new timing belt? because isnt it if the timing is off a bit it will make your car run like crap?
lemme know what you guys think, this project is 98% done.. and i would really like to have it running properly as i am driving it 80kms a day to school
