I have the b18b1 ls vtec motor, I'm wondering what's the exact year on that motor to where I can get my starter

b18b1 is not vtec. Are you sure that's the motor you have?

Any b series starter should work, if the plugs are different from OBD series to another then just get one with the correct plug.
