Where is everybody getting these gawdammed ITR motors? Last time I checked they were pricey and not readily availible.

Based on the cost of the initial investment, the complexity of tuning a high compression engine, and the availibility of the ITR engine I would say just get a GSR or B16 and boost that. You really aren't going to get much more out of a B18C5 boosted than bragging rights of having a B18C5...and getting your ass handed to you by someone with a well sorted out B16A2.

Why would you boost the b18c5?? Turbo's dont like high compression. Go with a b18c1 gsr.

theres a sticky about this in the engine tech forum....evan put them all onto one post, so it shouldnt be hard to find....YES, you can boost a ITR motor....i dont know who started this whole "cant boost high compression" thing, but you can....sure, you cant run as many psi, but you can still boost it just fine....

but again, read the sticky

  Holy s**t!!!! Another one of these.

I wonder how many times somebody has told me they were going to turbo a B18C5? Or asked a question about turboing the ITR engine? The sad irony is that it's usually some fool in a DX sedan one maroon LX door.

Why don't you start with a less expensive engine first? Like a B18B1. That way when you scatter B series parts all over the road, it's not in a $5000. engine!!!!!
