I'm looking into doing a b20z swap on my ek coupe. My question is if anyone knows where I can get a complete swap in Miami fl Kendall homestead area. An if any of have done this how much would it run me. Thanks

When you're doing a B20 swap there really is no such thing as a complete swap because you need to source the transmission elsewhere. I've been looking into doing this swap and the motor should run you somewhere in the ball park of $600-800. You'll get a better price by using the classifieds but you might have better luck with a reputable seller like hmotorsonline.

Any b-series trans will work, of course the short ratio ones are more favorable. I had a b20 with both a cable GSR and an LS trans. Nice thing about the b20 is it makes a decent amount of torque(for a b series) and is fun to drive in a lightweight chassis. I have bought two b20s from tigerjapanese, one was clean a f**k and the other not so much. You never hear anything bad about hmotosonline. Remeber there are three b20s, the b20b (low compression p75 head) b20z (higher compression p75 head) and the other b20z (compression slightly less than b20z but with p8r head). The third one is the most favorable.

Alright thanks guys. About how much would this swap run me. And any good shops to do this swap in Miami fl
^ theres no real way we can tell you what it will cost because
1 no way to know what you get the motor for if you go certified sites or off CL or other classifieds prices will be different
2 like said before there are several transmissions you could go with so there will be different price for each one
3 shops everywhere charge different prices unless somebody is local to Miami no way to know what a certain shop there will charge shop time usually starts at 75 an hour and goes up from there but it varies from shop to shop.
