B20B Turbo question

I have a B20B motor in my 6th gen civic and i'm getting tired of the performance. I'm starting to think about going forced induction. Do you ladies and gentlemen think the Greddy turbo kit for the Acura LS is worth the money for the performance? I know I could piece together my own custom kit, but I don't have the time or patience. If anyone of you guys have, or know someone with the Greddy kit on their LS, could you tell me their HP numbers and their E.T.

b20s have thin cylinder walls.
and do much boost on them.

How much PSI do you think I can use before the cylinder wall go?

id say aroudn 6 or 7, but not really about psi, how much power.

you can run a low boost setup, or go CR/Vtec

I know I could go CR/Vtec, but i'm not all that mechanically inclined and finding a reasonably priced vtec head is a pain in the ass.

isn't the greddy Kit a low boost kit?

With the greddy kit, a frontmount, and a bov you could easily do 10psi.

Just to let you know. If you don't have much time or patience, boost may not be for you.

I just don't want to pay for another motor swap, because when I bought this motor I didn't know much about Hondas and was misinformed about it. The mechanic told me it was a stout motor for boost.

Yea just like BlackHope said, do your research. Taking time to research WILL save you money. Its not all that hard to put a Vtec head on, or to boost. Just takes some patience and knowledge.

That motor is completely safe to boost. Its not stout but it will be fine as long as you keep it under 300whp with a good tune..

Thats kinda what i'm looking for, around 220-290hp not anything insane. I hardly ever go to the track. Also it's my daily driver and my only car. I just need an upgrade without buying a new car.

do it right and nothing will go wrong, at least nothing more than any other setup. im on my 3rd turbo kit on my DD...
