B21a1 in a 6th Gen Coupe

I have a 1998 Civic Coupe Si (American EX) with the d16y8. The car is in great shape, but the motor is starting to take a dump.

I also have a 91 Prelude Si with a B21a1. Everything except the engine already took a dump.

So... an idea crossed my mind. Why don't i put the b21a1 in the Civic?

Has anybody heard of this being done before? how easy would it be to do it?

I was just thinking that I'd use the engine i have currently available instead of looking for something else.
(if the b21a1 swap isn't worth it I'd probably put another d16 in it, or possibly B swap it)
This is my daily driver, I'm not really looking for increased performance, just to keep the car going.

I'm just looking for thoughts and information on this.

Thanks.

It's not the same B series. The only use would be scrap.

Yeah, I'm aware that the B21a1 is not in the same B series.

That is why i had asked if anybody has ever gone through with one of the swaps. I know that its not the same process as your typical "B-swap". I just wanted to know if its ever been done before, or if it was even possible.

Thanks,

Never heard of it being done, and doesn't seem like it would be worth ur time imo
