I just bought another civic its a 98ex and the kid told me that the cluster wasn't lighting, but when i looked at night the dimmer, cruise, sunroof and power mirrors button wasn't lit everything else is tho. Now he has on the cluster the reverse indiglo gauges from apc from like 04 which i think they stopped making, but i took it apart to see if it was a loose wire because he said they would come on for like 4 months and then just stop. All i saw was the power and ground ran to a bulb holder in back of the cluster with no bulb so i have no idea how it would of worked unless it works of the factory lighting, but i looked and all the illumination bulbs are out. Now i also tried the right way and taped into my parking lights then grounded them and still nothing so if anyone could help me im stumped. I have read other threads where it says it could be the dimmer switch but if that was bad i wouldn't have any dash lights right?
