Bad News

Hey guys i been out of the loop here for a while recovering from an accident, in which i was rear ended by a 02' GMC Sierra doing about 50mph. I was stopped at a redlight and he just hit me dead on from behind, i was knocked out and woke up on a stretcher going into an ambulance.

The sad thing is i can still drive the car, it is completely in pristine condition from the rear seats towards the front of the car, it has a low mileage tranny with a new clutch and whole new A/C system... it breaks my heart, i shed quite a few tears when she was loaded on the flat bed wrecker and brought to my house.... It was the fact that all my hard work and money was gone, and the guy who hit me just left me hanging halfway out the car unconcious. He was arrested and awaiting wut is to come. It's a damn shame.

Sadly my car is totalled :-( so the civic is no more, it has been completely stripped down and back to stock specs, and im looking for my next car. God Bless Guys and take care, i will try and drop in as often as i can from time to time.

ok maybe if i show you my week long stay at the hospital, and the $10,000 medical bill? heh He atleast tried to swerve before hitting me, thats how he was able to do the whole hit and run thing the left side of the truck hit me and after he hit me he turned right and stormed off from what i was told.

by the way i don't remember any of this, so this is what i was told when i woke up the next morning.

There was over $8,000 in damage to my car, the trunk is in the back seat...

at least it wasnt ur fault, things should be taken care of over time. i was in the same situation back in october. just take ur time, relax, and heal dude. was ur EX a manual?

heh the tranny is fairly low mileage.... i would like to part the car to a good home, atleast some of it will go to someone who is going to make use of it.

i don't remember, i think i was putting a number in my cell phone while i was stopped, and i usually carry my cell phone next to my wallet, so i might have taken it off to get my cell out of my back pocket.

The doc said it was good that i didn't tense up like most people would have or my injuries would have been alot worse.

I didn't expect it... so i think i tried to get out the car and passed out from the pain... can't imagine what that looked like to people going by me, seeing someone hanging out the car passed out... musta been f**ked up,
