As a minor footnote, I have a question:
could my front tower stut bar cause the car to pull to one side? ...say if it was installed when the car was on on a hill etc. ?

no, that isnt possible..unless you really pulled one of the strut towers to one side really far which inst possible...here is a picture to cheer you up, this is California in the winter...took this picture 2 weeks ago..
