Battery discharge problem

Hey guys, I'm new here and I'm not really sure how this works so please bear with me.

So, for the past 3 years, I have had an issue with my battery discharging extremely quick. If I don't drive it for a day, the voltage drops below 12V and I cannot start it without jumper cables. I went and got a new battery but that didn't solve the issue.

Does anyone have the same issue and knows what is causing it? A faulty fuse or alternator? I desperately need help as I am in university and need to use the car ASAP. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Something is probably pulling juice from your battery slowly. This could be your radio, or really any other electrical component that leeches from the battery when the car is started, but now for some reason is not wired correctly to an ignition wire to stop it when the car is off. Do yo7 have an aftermarket radio? Because the most common place for hacked wiring jobs is in a radio installed by someone who doesn't know what they're doing, so I'd start there first if yours is aftermarket

Ah okay, yes, I do have an aftermarket deck. However, the issue only started creeping up around 7 years after installing the aftermarket radio. Is this still a possible issue?

Thank you for the reply.

boofoo, thanks man, I will try that first and let you know. Currently, I am in the process of replacing the battery as the current one is completely dead and was barely charging.
