Basically my battery keeps draining for some reason and recently it happens around 1 week after inactivity. The battery is relatively new and the alternator is still good.

Google parasitic draw test and do that. It could be lots of things, w/o doing that test you are just guessing. It could even be the alt if the diode packs are bad, so don't rule it out.
