i second that option unless u wanna run crome

uberdata/crome/turboedit are all similar in concept, use whichever suits your fancy or your setup, or whichever you find easiest to use. im an uberdata person myself, but for a few bucks, crome pro looks like an incredible program.

thats true, forgot about those, a set of dsm's and a resistor box should be well under 100 bucks.

Don't pay that much for them. Stock OEM 450cc DSM injectors shouldn't be bought for more than $100-$150. ;)

I got my 310's for $75, I actually had some 450's at first but they were too big. Hell, my 310's are too big for my 8lbs I have my fuel maxed all the way down on my safc. IIf I get some smaller injectors and can go up like another 30horse or so.

btw So if were to get uber data I wouldn't need my safc anymore?

maxing out injectors is bad, you just tune them down not to use their whole duty cycle, they will last longer that way.

to get it go to http://uberdata.pgmfi.org/

nope, and you'll have a much more reliable fuel managment system. and how are 310's too big? are you running like 100psi of fuel pressure? and dont be like me and run a 102% duty cycle on your 440's lol.

When I went to the dyno to get it tuned I had to take the fuel all the way down on my safc. Actually my boy Chai who owns CC import tuned it for me. If I remember correctly I think hes said he maxed all my fuel levels down @ -20%. He's the one that told me that if I get some smaller injectors that I could go up like around 30horse. As for my fuel pressure, I don't know?

Chai's cool though he's a good friend and he's slowly starting to go pro and s**t so I trust his judgement. Not only do I get the lowest prices with him but I consider it an honer that he works on my car. When we went to the dyno together my bill alone was going to be like $250 and since I went with him we only ended up paying $100 each at Aya racing in Grand Rapids, MI. He does charge me practicly nothing when he works on my car but I do tip very well, another costumer at his shop couldn't believe the tip I gave him one time, he's my boy though.

Ahhh, the to low is beacuse of the restrictions of the AFC, uberdata could fix that. I know if returnoftheking was here he would tell you to go AEM or some brand name engine managment but he isnt so go uber =)

hit up www.xenocron.com for your chipping supplys, or chris(xenocron) will even chip it for you at a danm good price. I dont know how he does it I have never been able to go as cheap as him with stuff and still turn a profit. Oh well, thats why i go to him.

you might also want to ask your boy how comfortable he is with tuning with uberdata

I'm not sure about that, I think I'd have to take it Aya racing so he can tune it. I'm not sure if he uses hondata or AEM but I know he gets his car tuned in Detoit. He just tuned my car with my safc cuz he's my boy and knows more than me. Dude, I don't even know all the functions on my safc yet. I just barely found out last week that the safc records my runs with different graphs and s**t.

I'm sory to whore your thread silentdaredevil . I hope the advice that they're giving me can help you out too

DUDE.. are you not reading?

Uberdata is REAL tuning. Adjust Fuel & Ignition timing. Accepts larger injectors. Tons of support. And it's under $100. Hell my setup was $90-something and I have enough chips to burn 10 seperate ecu's.

DSM 450's/510's => $80 all day long and www.tacomaturbo.com

I'm running 510's on my soon to be boosted setup. (yeller tops)

the safc will cost you more than the uberdata setup mentioned in this section. pls reread then reconsider the safc.
