So I'm planning to install a new head unit and swap the AC control's bulbs with LEDs this weekend.
I tried yesterday to remove the AC unit by following the DIYs here (removed the glove box, drivers side panel and cigarette/power outlet panel, then popped out the hazard and defrost buttons) but I stil couldn't figure out how to pull out the entire AC/radio/vents.
I saw some screws attached to the bottom of the AC to a metal harness, but no amount of WD-40 could loosen those.
After a google search people keep mentioning that there's an easier way to pull off the entire climate control/AC panel (just clips?) but in can't figure out how.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
