best ECU to use

what is the best ecu to use on an lsvtec? i want it to be OBD-1.

p28 chipped or p72 are really good ecu's.

You will want to use a chipped P28. The LS has no provision for a knock sensor, so no real need for the P72. And if you are building an LS vtec, more than likely you will be getting an intake manifold as well, so you don't have to run the gay IABs.
