Aight, would anybody be interested in a Boise Idaho Meet? This place is home to some Sick cars. I work for Custom Imports and it's a speed shop; I can make it a very SICK meet. I have a lot of connection to the Idaho Car scene. I am friends with quite a few people here with some Serious civics and import in general. But they dont post forums. So what better way to get them involved and you guys as well.
But it would have to be in the spring time. Im throwing this out to see what kind of response I can get. Here is what im thinking..
NW meet in Boise Idaho: March 15th
Meet - Ann Morrison Park
Meet starts at 7 in the monring, lasts until 830 (Giving enough time for people to get here)
There will be a check-in list where people have to sign there names and what they drive.
Car show- ParkCenter
Once the clock stikes 9 Oclock, We will parade our cars down the Capitol streets to a Reserved parking lot off Parkcenter. We will have a Import Car show with live DJ, Free Food, Refreshments, Live Music, and Certificate giveaways for car show winners and runner up's.
(Keep in mind this car show will be hosted by Myself representing Clubcivic.com and or Any moderators that are able to make it to the meet and are willing to play a big role in what the car show will be like.) There will be Clubcivic.com Banner created and hung from Trees surrounding a small area of the Parking lot. There would also be a local Forum (www.idahostreetracing.com) representing.
Idaho Speed Center would more then likely show up for something like this. I would have to talk to the owner Rory. From how well I know him, I know he would be down to support and host any given event. The car show will be host to mostly civic's but there will be a few Treats including my Prelude turbo'd, Some 10 Second Hondas from RvTeK Motorsports here in Idaho, a Few Skylines (R23, R34), two 900whp Toyota Supras plus much much much more. I could even get some girls to go around and get some pictures taken on cars. If that is ok.
The car show will go from 9:30a.m - 2:30p.m.
Gaming and Bullshitting-
From there we will allow free roaming until 5pm and then we will all meet up at IMAX theatre and Edwards (located right next to each other) We will fill up the parking lot outside the Game Room and we will have an Hour of Video Gaming at Edwards Theater. After an Hour of play and talk, we all move to Ann Morrison Park once again and fill our oirigonal location for a BBQ Hosted by Idahostreetracing.com Idaho Speed Center, Custom Imports and various friends of mine that would be willing to cook up the dogs and burgers.
CC Cruise-
Hoping that will last until about 9pm, when we will all move downtown to the "Cruise" To show off the cars to the Boise Idaho Public. Some of you will probably be pulled over by the BPD and for those of you I feel sorry. We will meet many Tuners downtown. Where we can talk or go race. It's a very popular place for everything in general.
Afterparty-
After the cruise is shut down at 12am, we will have a Party at my Apartment...
Anybody intersted? I want this to happen in Spring, so this should be more then enough time to plan and work out the bugs etc..
For thos interested PLEASE PM me and I will save your Id's only to post up at the end of Feburary when we will get serious on it.
