i want to turbo my d16y8 engine but am only looking to spend like 600$ for a turbo kit could anyone give me so suggestions on what to get and what kinda HP im looking at from it after a average tunning

your going to spend at least 350 -400 on chipping and tuning.. keep saving!
$600 *mite* get your just a decent turbo (not kit)....plus like the guy ^ said...gonna spend most of your budget just tuning...keep saving, build your motor and do it rite or believe me you"ll regret it
Do you have an auto or manual transmission? What are your uses for the car? Horsepower also depends on the size of the turbo, the amount of psi you allow, how much fuel you can get into the cylinder (fuel pump, fuel injectors, fuel rail). There are many different things to consider, so while you save up lots more money, I would suggest doing a lot of research as well.
^^^ you dont need a fuel rail, the OE is fine up to 500 hp
well actually wouldn't he need a bigger FPR..? for higher flow...i dont know just a guess
