my friend and i are trying to get answers on boost.
he says a greddy turbo kit at 10 psi with a 57trim t3to4e turbo will make the same power as say...a peakboost kit, using the same turbo at the same psi. he also says that a ramhorn manifold compared to an ebay log manifold will get the same peak whp. and that the only factors that matter are the engine, turbo, how much psi, and the tune. i disagree. what do yall think? i'd really like to understand.

your buddy is definately wrong. you also cant get a greddy kit with a t3/t04e, you may have know that. but yes there are many factors that will be held into accout not just engine, turbo and tune. psi is a measure of resistance. pressure wouldnt build up if there was no resistance. that resistance could be the exhaust manifold, a crappy exhaust manifold might build up a lot of pressure and make no power because its so restricting. there are many factors in power production to look at its not as cut and dry as your buddy makes it.
