Black box

Yeah Im not sure if you guys can help me with this, Im swapping a H22 in my 94 accord and the ECU that came with the H22 on the bracket has a black box on it that looks like a phone or e-thernet cable can plug into, my accord ECU bracket does not have this black box on it, I was wondering if anyone can tell me what it is, Thanks

could possibly be for datalogging. thats 3what it sounds like. does the ecu have a wire comming out of the case anywhere on the top or bottom??

isn't it a GPS tracking system? It checks your speed and wherever you go. Some parents had this installed to track where their kids go.

No I dont think so, I didnt see anything coming from the ECU to this, I will try to get a pic, I just dont know how to upload a pic, I was just wondering if I need it, THanks

I dont have the car running yet, this weekend, I will get better pics, if its for data logging will I need it, I didnt see any plugs on the ECU to hook it up? Oh and Im pretty sure its not a JDM because I pulled it out of prelude and the engine markings are H22A1 I thought JDM was H22A.

yes h22a1 and h22a4 are usdm,h22a is jdm.the guy you got it from,what was his setup?

Well do I need it, I dont understand what it is used for. I have the main ECU, where would this one hook up to? My accord did not have anything like this on it.
